Dear Broc and Dayne,

        I would like to elaborate on our days experience at the Breathe Easy Ride;

We arrived at the event around 9:30, got checked in and received our rider information Packages, tee shirts, and posters.  We had the posters and a tee shirt signed by the Legends for our son and his friend who race motocross at the Motoplex track in Palmdale, CA.  (They were thrilled to get the posters with all of the signatures.)

       Next we visited the display booths and for a few dollars of donations won some great stuff including more tee shirts, sunglasses, a set of nice bike tie-downs, & more.  After checking out all of the displays, we proceeded to the Slappin Leather store where we received friendly service and a great discount on the items we purchased.

        Now for the part that really made our day;

After thundering out of town with the other hundreds of riders, the groups of bikes began getting separated by stop lights and intersections.  We wound up in a group of about 20 bikes of which none of us seemed to have a clue as to which way to go. (I think we all thought we would follow the other bikes)  Two of the riders (which I found out later were Legend participants) stopped to check their map and then we were on our way.  (We made sure to follow these two riders the remainder of the ride.) Somehow we missed the trailer we had been directed to stop at, but wound up stopping at a little roadside café by the name of Sadie’s Homestyle.  By this time, our group had dwindled to five riders.  After entering the café, we were surprised to find out that the two riders we had been following were Brenda Fox and Boris Said.  They were both very friendly and we enjoyed our time and conversation with them.  After completing our ride back to Temecula, we got to enjoy our lunch accompanied again by Brenda Fox. My wife and I both really enjoyed her company.

          Just a final note;

The day of the ride was our first bike run in thirty years; I had only just recently purchased the bike and started riding again.

It was also the day of our 29th wedding anniversary, we are so glad to have been able to spend it helping to raise money for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and having a great time doing it.  There are many of our anniversaries I can’t even recall what we did, but our 29th is one we will remember.   We really look forward to being able to participate in any future events.

         We wil be praying for a rapid breakthrough in the discovery of a cure for CF.

Sincerely, Dale & Denise Waters

Dear Mr. Glover ,

We want to commend you on a great ride you put on Sunday.

On behalf of everyone we rode with in our group we want to express how much we enjoyed it.

Larry Huffman, the voice of racing was great and we were thrilled to be able to approach such incredible motorcycle legends. Ricky Johnson was great to talk with along with Jeff Ward. Your event allowed us to interact with so many motorcycle heroes it was wonderful. We ended up riding in a group lead by Boris and the pretty pro rider on that huge chopper. In following them they waited for us at lights and stops and made us feel more important than we expected. Boris was so approachable and engaged in conversation that really made a difference for us. The pro rider gal rode that orange motorcycle better than anyone we’ve ever seen and inspired not only my wife and the other gals, but a lot of us men. She talked about you and how you took the action to put on the event. So many people talk and few take the reins and do something to make an impact. We all agreed when she talked about you and the others being a true leader and her authentic appreciation for us that attended your ride was heartfelt.

Mr.Glover it was our pleasure and an honor to participate.

On behalf of our whole group.

Thank you,

William and Lorraine Morris

I rode my Triumph from LA to Temecula the day before Broc’s Breathe Easy Ride and enjoyed the atmosphere of Old Town Front Street on Saturday.   Sunday, I rode the Sport Bike route of Broc’s ride, we zipped up, down, and through the mountains like we were on a mission, a mission to find a cure for CF!  After the ride the momentum continued with the “after-ride” events which featured a great band, (Heartless), and some very tear-jerking moments from the stage.

I would like to give a great big THANK YOU to Broc Glover and all of his loyal racing friends and all of the people at The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation for putting on this event.  I have 2 nieces and a nephew with CF, and thanks to people like you, I am confident they will live long and come to know what it is like to raise a happy family.  That is something that could not be said with confidence a few years ago!!!  I hope to see everybody back next year!”

Dear Broc -

Had to take a minute to congratulate you, Molly, Scott, Justin and all the support crew on yet another AMAZING event!
I see first hand the effort, passion and energy that you put forth all year long to ensure the event is a success.
Hope you raised a record breaking amount of money to help fight the disease.

Dee & I had been looking forward to the ride for months and we were so excited to ride again this year.
Not many places you can go and meet/greet & hang out with such a diverse group of motorcycle icons past & present.

I for one thought it was a wonderful day, and I'm certain that hundreds of passionate motorcyclists were proud to participate in such a well organized event. Bet they were ALL smiling ear to ear as they shared 100+ miles of beautiful, winding roads of So. Calif. with YOU, and the rest of the legends.

I think we all feel a lil better about the world, when we have HOPE that there may some day be a cure for CFF..
thanks to parents like you & Molly.

you can ALWAYS count on us to be there. We'll bring even more friends next year. We would NOT miss it!

... We're praying for you too!

Peace - Sheri & Dee Ride 4 N Hour

Hello my name is Joe Smith. I wanted to drop a line to you guys with a personal story. I am in the motorcycle industry and heard about this event and was very excited. I want to tell you and maybe it would reach all CF families that you guys know. My brother was the most inspirational person in my life and he had CF. I watched him deal with this daily, persevere and live to be 49 years old. Yes you read that right, he was 49 when he passed. His main goal in life was to reach 50 but he was about 6 months short of his goal. He lived almost a normal life. He loved to ride dirt bikes and did so up until about 45. I miss him every day but I carry him close and so does my
parents as we all are very proud of him. My family has purchased some tickets for the bike but we live in Atlanta Ga so we won't be able to do the rides but we will do what we can. I must say there's not enough events to raise money for CF and we are glad that Mr Glover is doing this as he has a name to do it.

Hi Broc,

Thanks for such a fun event!  It was great to see such turnout from the biking community!  It was a real treat to ride the bike from Victory.  I was impressed with the support they gave you for the Breathe Easy Ride! The bike was awesome and so easy to get used to.  I was checking out how many bikes they brought and the various models available.  I especially appreciated Robert hooking me up with the low seat height for my short legs!  Please give them my thanks for all they did for the event and I definately will plan to participate again next year!

All the best!

Molly and Broc,

We enjoyed the day immensely and were happy to support a very worthy cause.  As we rode home we both decided it was something we would like to do again next year.

For me a racing fan, it was very exciting to see all of the racing legends I have watched over the years, Broc included.  I could sit and
listen to stories from those guys all day.  There were so many there one could get dizzy turning circles and bumping in to all of them.  I could have taken an hour to go through the autograph line; I briefly got to talk with Boris Said about Daytona and grudgingly had to move on down the line.  It is a testament to the generosity and character of each of them to come out in support of your cause.

Thank you again!

Marc Beaudet

Broc,
Thank you again for inviting me to attend your amazing event again this year. It's a true honor to be on the list of "legends" that participate in what has quickly become the event none of us would miss.

It was so much fun to hang out and ride with so many of our life-long friends as well as the new friends that I seem to make each year.

What more can I say, good friends, beautiful day, a fun route and a great cause. Way to go buddy.....

Your friend, Mike Bell

Broc,
Another great ride and turn-out yesterday. I can see this event getting
bigger and better every year. You have a lot of good people behind you on this, congratulations and good job, I know it's a lot of hard work.

Sincerely,
Ted Studley

Broc and Molly,

Thank you so much for putting on a wonderful event for such an important cause.  Just being a part of your ride has broadened my knowledge about Cystic Fibrosis.  I've been on plenty of charity rides, but I must say yours was one of the most enjoyable due to the people involved and of course riding a new Victory was up there with one of the highlights along with getting my helmet autographed.

I'm looking forward to next year's ride and will mark it on my calendar. This time I'll have more time to gather a bunch of my law enforcement counterparts to take part in the ride as well and do our part in supporting Cystic Fibrosis.

Thanks again,
Marco Sevilla
